Maraschino Server Settings
Maraschino Server Settings
By default Maraschino has no username, no password, and cannot be access by any other computer on the network. To change this, we need to edit the Maraschino Server Settings.
1. Start by navigating to your Maraschino page. This can be reached by go to http://localhost:7000
2. Next, mouse over the top right hand corner of the Maraschino page to reveal the Maraschino menu. Navigate to “Manage” then click on “Server Settings”.
3. A pop up should open with four different fields:
Maraschino Username – set a username for Maraschino
Maraschino Password – set a password for Maraschino
Maraschino Port – set a port for Maraschino
Maraschino Webroot – set the IP address of Maraschino; this will enable other computers on your network to access Maraschino
4. When you are done filling in the fields, click on the “Save” button. You will be brought back to your Maraschino frontpage.
5. If you have changed the port or webroot (ip address), you will need to restart Maraschino. Mouse over the top right hand corner of the Maraschino page to reveal the Maraschino menu. Navigate to “Manage” then click on “Restart”, Maraschino will now prompt you that it is restarting.
NOTE: After the restart, if you have changed the port or the IP the Maraschino page will not load. You will need to point your browser to the new address/port.
That is it! Now you know how to change Maraschino’s username, password, port, and allow access from networked computers!
